I love to see the seasons change and autumn is a wonderful time of year. There is just something so natural and earthy about the fall season. Apples and leaves fall from the trees and the colors of vibrant reds, oranges, greens, and browns are brought to the forefront in nature and even in fashion.
And delicious new foods like squash, pumpkin, pecans, walnuts, apple cider, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon are available to enhance my culinary delights. Have you tried using these in your NutriBlasts? There is nothing more soothing than a pumpkin smoothie with walnuts, raw honey, nutmeg, and almond milk.
Cacao nibs or cacao powder can also give a Blast a deep flavor that is absolutely incredible. It’s a little too decadent to have every day for me, so I save my cacao nibs and powder for the times when I need an extra special treat.
This time of year brings a great opportunity to try new Blast recipes or enhance a favorite recipe with something new and different. The internet is full of ideas! I’ve found many recipes online by searching or browsing NutriLiving.com that have inspired my own inventions. They are also books on juicing that I use for inspiration. Fall Pumpkin Blast
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 cup cooked pumpkin
- 1 Tbsp raw, organic honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup oats
- Almond milk to MAX line
Blast for 30 seconds, or until smooth.
