11This I Know For Sure
Some interesting things happened when I became a NutriBullet head: I learned the ins and outs of the fruits and veggies I started collecting. For instance, I had no clue that ginger molds if you leave it in a baggie sitting on the counter top. (Deduct one point from Tish’s score!) I’ve learned that I have to freeze my strawberries and blueberries, otherwise I’ll be throwing away beautiful berries that went bad.
It’s not all about storage keep, though. I’ve become quite the experimenter as well. I recently learned that mango/papaya salsa tastes excellent on salmon. I know if I want to feel my best (energetic, alert, and full), I need to have my morning smoothie. On the weekends, I’ll go out to brunch spots with my fella, and we always feel like crap after a round of pancakes, bacon, and eggs. I know now I’m addicted to healthy, nutritious foods.
I’ve learned that eating well does wonders for the body. My skin recently went through a crazy period of breakouts. I asked my dermatologist what the heck was going on, and she asked if I had changed my diet. When I replied yes, she congratulated me on good choices. Apparently the NutriBullet meals are great at helping rid your body of toxins. (I’ll take a few weeks of breakouts if it means I’m booting the crap from my body!)
More than anything though, I know for sure that the NutriBullet has changed everything. I’ve always been a relatively healthy eater, but after six-plus weeks of eating the suggested meals, I can physically feel the effects of a good diet.

I have been struggling with neck pain, and inflammation to too long, which I believe is fibromyalgia. My health insurance co-pays are very high so I gave up spending money on endless tests for process of elimination. I felt terrible, tired, depressed and hopeless. Bought a NB almost 3 mo. ago, been blasting ever since (at least 1xday) and I am no longer taking pain relievers daily. I feel better overall, and started running 3 weeks ago. NEVER thought I would feel better; only worse. Wrong! I am planning to travel out of state for the holidays and I am glad I bought my bullet-to-go travel bag so I can keep my daily routine. Keep looking out for yourself, and stick to it!!! God did not intend for us to feel bad all of the time. Genesis 1:12 “The land produced vegetation—all sorts of seed-bearing plants, and trees with seed-bearing fruit. Their seeds produced plants and trees of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.” (NLT) Live your life; love your life again!
I’m so glad that you posted this. I’ve had CHRONIC neck pain for 7 years and this past year started taking pain meds. I do not want to be a prisoner to a pill but I’m in so much pain. I just ordered one of these and I’m praying that it will help my aching nerves and muscles! And maybe I will eventually feel good enough to get up and actually exercise!
I so hope it helps Connie!!! I love how empowering it all can be! Please let me know how you fare.
I’ve been blasting for about 6 weeks I try to do it 2 or 3 times a day I use ginger every day how do I keep it fresh?
Laura- Grate or chop enough ginger for a few days & keep it in a small tupper like container in the fridge- Put the rest intact in a freezer bag in the freezer – This works for us- hope you find it easy & convenient
Great tip!!! Thanks! When you want to use the frozen…do you just thaw it or put blocks of the stuff in? lol
Me too. I’ve only been using mine for a week – an impulse buy, but what a great impulse. I’ve had my spinach, mixed berries (frozen) and walnut or almond blast every morning and can already feel a difference in energy.
I have been putting Chi seeds in my morning blend and I can feel the energy difference. Love the Chi Seeds.
Right on the money, Tish! I’ve been ‘blasting for a couple of weeks now and can feel a breakout trying to push thru. I remembered toxins can be released thru the skin, so I’m not worried about it. I am also addicted. To my surprise, I have been able to ‘blast twice a day. I will have my morning ‘blast even if it means catching a later train to work, and then there’s my lighter, celery-based drink after work…both help me eat less junk. So glad I bought the NutriBullet!
It’s uncanny how it changes how you feel! Also crazy how you feel (post NutriBullet) after eating junk!
