Have you ever used apples in your Blast? It’s apple season and they happen to be one of the most popular fruits in the world. They make a good base and will compliment any type of Blast, the greener the better! My apple of choice is sweet and tart – the lovely Granny Smith. A medium size apple contains only 80 calories, a ton of vitamins and a lot of natural fiber. I love to use this little green guy for pies, muffins and especially in my Blast.
Green Apple Blast
- 1 Granny Smith apple with skin, sliced and cored
- 1 cup of green grapes
- 1 carrot with skin, diced
- Large handful of spinach
- 3 ice cubes
- Water to line
- Add all ingredients to the NutriBullet cup and extract until smooth.
No need to peel the apple or carrot! Their skin actually contains a lot of nutrients and fiber; just be sure to scrub thoroughly before using.
