I use my Nutribullet for smoothies but I also use it for regular meals & snacks to get away from processed foods! Last summer, I used my Magic Bullet nearly every day to make fresh salsa using ingredients from my home garden. Easy, cheap & delicious! This salsa is great to use on top of salad instead of traditional processed salad dressing!
Fresh Salsa You’ll Love!
10 cherry tomatoes
1/4 jalepeño pepper (finely diced ahead of time)
1/4 onion
handful of cilantro
1/2 lime (no peel)
Few quick pulses; serve! I like it over romaine lettuce, fresh corn, and black beans. YUM!
My go-to smoothie which has helped me to resolve skin problems and gives me lasting energy.
- 1 handful crunched Kale
- 1/2 Avocado
- Pitted Black Cherries
- Raspberries
- Blackberries
- 1 tbsp local honey
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Chia Seed
- 1 to 2 tablespoons Pumpkin Seeds ( If you haven’t tried these, look them up. I like the anxiety easing and mood improving benefit of them. Snacking on pumpkin seeds is like taking a daily vitamin pill, because most of the B vitamins, plus C, D, E and K are well-represented)
- Spring Water
- Optional additional sweetening: A packet of Truvia or a similar stevia type sweetener.
- Optional: Add a little ice. I personally skip the ice due to sensitive teeth.
Blend in your Nutribullet and enjoy some liquid vitality!

Recipe for my
“Little Red Number”
{this is fruit only, to be tried in the evening as a fun, sexy social drink after getting all your greens in.}
~1 handful of deep dark red grapes (seedless)
~1 red apple; chopped, no seeds please.
~4 huge red strawberries; cut in half
~1 handful of rich red rasberries
~tip it off with 3 Tbsp of Organic Grade A Maple Syrup
~add 1 Tbsp of flax seed
~fill the cup to the max line (only) with cold distilled water.
{let the bullet do its thing for 40 seconds)
Enjoy.
Tip: to transform this into a cocktail-ish kinda drink…
Go Half on the fruit amount of the recipe, undress the apple (take the skin off), lose the flax seed, and use tonic water with a little crushed ice instead. Once blended, add a spash of Red Moscatto (if you’re naughty). Very sexy and versatile drink for to compliment you and yours, as well as the bullet. Lets not forget the bullet is sexy too.
Isn’t tonic water fizzy? You’re not supposed to use carbonated beverages in your NutriBullet, according to the directions.

I love my nutribullet and love making up nutriblasts twice a day. I can get discounted fruits and veggies at a local grocery store so my nutriblasts vary according to what I have on hand. I think my favorite is kale and/or spinach, banana, apple, pear, strawberries or blueberries, hemp seeds, flax seeds, almonds, and chocolate almond milk.
The nutribullet has been the best purchase I have made in a long time. I am eating healthy and enjoying it. I feel great, I am losing weight, sleeping better, and have more energy. Food also tastes so much better. I am also finding that I eat slower and enjoy the taste of my food more…..I am not just eating to stuff my mouth. I am craving healthy. Thank you.

That was supposed to say…. here’s one of my faves!!!!
WTG NutiBullet for putting this together. I am loving reading all the yummy looking recipes. I have to say this, as of January 1st, I decided that it was time to start taking care of me!! I have ALWAYS been a severe junk food junkie. I ate fronzen dinners, fast food joints, and tons of Pepsi (at least 5 cans a day). I started cutting down on the Pepsi on Jan 1 and was quite proud of myself. My elderly next door neighbours told me that they had just purchased a NutriBullet and showed me the book with all the recipes in it. I went home immediately and order ONE. As soon as I got it, I started trying different things in the book. Then I saw the movies: Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, Food Matters and Hungry for a Change. That has since shifted what I eat. It is now Feb 12th, and I have lost well over 15lbs, I have not had an ounce of the above mentioned junk food in over a month and I am feeling AMAZING. I will be 50 in April and have never felt this good in all my life. I have since ordered TWO MORE bullets… one for my daughter and one for my boyfriend. Thank you for saving our lives……… now if I could only quit smoking!! That is next
So, I blast at least twice a day!!!!
My main ingredients (I put this in EVERY smoothie) are:
1 tsp. Sea Vegies (AFA, Spirulina, Chloerlla, Kelp, Bladderwrack, Irish Moss, Red Marine and NS Dulse)
1 tsp. Maca X-6
1 tsp Acai
1/8 c Chia seeds
1/8 c Organic Shredded Coconut
1 tbsp Noni Juice
1/8 c Cocoa Nibs
1/8 c Sunflower seed
1/4 c aloe juice
From there, I alternate with a cup of either organic kale, spinach, beet leaves
I throw in whatever fruits are around, blackberries, cherries, pomegranate, blueberries, kiwi, banana, apples, pears, oranges, lemons, limes, pineapple, watermelon, etc. I live in Canada and it is not always easy/affordable to buy fresh fruit, especially organic
My liquids that I put in are (I alternate):
Green tea, unsweetened vanilla almond milk or coconut water
I now have energy and I know that my “insides” are happy!!!!!!!
WOW……. I missed a bunch of stuff…….
In my ALWAYS ingredients:
1/8 c hemp seeds/hearts
1/8 c ground flax seeds
1/2 inch ginger
I just went to the fridge and saw: grapes, avocado, and sweet potatoes (yup, they are AWESOME in a smoothie)
Here’s my heart healthy fav!
Spinach
Kale
Chard
1/3 banana
1/2 avocado
5 raspberries
2 strawberries
6 blueberries
4 red grapes
2 tsp. flax seed
1 tsp goji berries
1 oz pomegranate juice
1 oz acai juice
then fill to the line with chilled rooibos tea
My heart thanks me!
My Nutribullet stopped working and am waiting for my replacement. My magic bullet is filling in as best it can but cannot do the things the NB can. Each day I am so tempted to go and buy a new one so that I am not in this position again. I have no absolute recipe but always start my day with a mixture of greens, frozen berries, banana, apple, pineapple or whatever I have on hand. Add my hemp and flax seeds, sometimes a little protein powder and am good to go. Sometimes the color is not great but they are always delicious❤❤❤
1 medium banana, peeled
1 orange, peeled
1 cup berries (I like to use 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/4 cup raspberries and 1/4 cup strawberries)
1/4 avocado, pitted
2 to 3 cups or large handfuls of fresh, baby spinach (or other leafy green) Kales good too
1 tablespoon of ground flax seed
4 ounces water, nutriblast away and reap the benefits
Handful of organic spinach….
Mixed with:
1 tbsp of each-all freeze dried: raspberries, acai berry, coconut milk, pomegranate, suma root, gogi berries.
1/2 organic almond milk, 1/2 water
2tbps of ground flax seed
handful of blueberries, handful of blackberries, & either 1/2 a banana or 1/2 apple…
2 tsps of ground cacao nibs
YUMMY and a beautiful deep purple color!

I love that I crave fruits and veggies now! I have not used my deep fryer since the arrival of my NutriBullet ,and my knees feel great! My 14 year old is also enjoying the different blast and I let him go for whatever he wants to create! The ingredients in my fridge are NutriBullet friendly today!
How in the world does your digestion handles a quarter cup of flax seed??
My go-to dessert blast that the whole family loves:
1 avocado
1 small handful of raw almonds
4-5 dried figs or dates, reconstituted
1Tbs agave
3/4 c. Coconut milk
3 tsp cocoa powder
5 ice cubes
We freeze for a half hour or so before serving, serve with sliced fresh strawberry. This tastes like almond joy ice cream! The avocado gives it a creamy consistency and you would never guess its in there. Winner in our house and its nutritious!!
Handful of organic spinach, 1 organic carrot, 2 frozen organic strawberries, 8 frozen organic blueberries, 1/2 of an organic banana, 8 soaked and dehydrated almonds, soaked and dehydrated pumpkin seeds, tablespoon of raw honey, 1/2 teaspoon of raw organic cacoa, teaspoon of turmeric and water. I believe in avoiding pesticides as much as I can. Which is why I buy only organic fruits and vegetables. Thank you NutriBullet for helping me accomplish my health goals everyday.

I brought the NutriBullet and got it 17 days ago. Since then my Mother and Son have joined my in the NutriBullet way of life. Having been to Europe last August I learned first hand how nutrionaly lacking Amercian food has become. We grow food in depleted soil, and use seeds developed for Quanity and Not Quality. I felt Healthier there than I had in a while. So I got a NutriBullet and make what my Son calls Purple Power!

My morning blast:

1 c kale
2 ribs celery
5 baby carrots
3/4 c pineapple
3/4 c mango
1/2 c plain greek yogurt
1/2 c soy milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
I use green tea that I make myself and keep in the fridge for the rest of the liquid in my blast. I have not yet tried cacoa nibs or maca because I live in a rural area and have not been able to find them. I have lost 9 lbs so far and am very happy with my NB!
This one sounds good!
Nancy, I just purchased a bunch of things from amazon.com to go into my Blasts. Cacao nibs, maca, mucuna, etc. Plus it’s where I purchase my protein powder. If you order $25 worth of items from amazon, you get free shipping. Sometimes things are ordered THROUGH amazon, from another seller, who may charge shipping.
I also do the tea for the liquid. Good stuff! Taste and health-wise.
Vitacost.com offers these items for a very low price.
Thanks so much for the on-line tips! I am trying not to purchase anything I have to put on credit cards (mine are still recovering from this past Christmas!) which is why I try to buy locally.
Went to a new grocery store yesterday and they had fresh kale and it was PURPLE!!! I can’t wait to try it in my blast this morning to see the beautiful color it will turn out to be.
Happy Blasting to everyone and a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
I purchased my nutribullet for health reasons as my recent cholestrol and HDL numbers were not good and decided to make those numbers improve. In doing this I have lost weight, have tons more energy and have not done nothing but have two blasts a day, one for breakfast and lunch . I vary my blast ingredients everyday to include the following: kale, spinach, collard greens, goji berries, cacao nibs, flax seeds, hemp seeds, raw unsalted pumpkin and sunfower seeds, chlorella powder, almonds, banana’s, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, peaches, mango, pineapple, apples, lemons, oranges, cinnamon, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, coconut water and plain water. As you can see I have invested in my health and it started with my nutribullet that I know now I couldn’t be without.
This is the blast that I had for breakfast this morning:
Kale
fresh pineapple(using the core which is high in bromelain)
blueberries
goji berries
flax seeds
chia seeds
pumkin seeds
unsweetened vanilla almond milk
cinnamon
When I use lemon in the morning it really makes me feel good but anything that I use always tastes great. I eat more vegetables for dinner along with seeds or beans for good health. I am so afraid that if something happened to my nutribullet that I would have to run out and get another ASAP! So I am watching for a good deal on that.
All I can say is no one could honestly say that this doesn’t make you feel good! I have prove!
1c chopped kale
1.5c unsweetened almond milk

Total Cholesterol…242 (normal is below 150)
Triglycerides…996 (normal is below 200)
HDL (good cholesterol)…24 (normal is above 30)
Knowing that I have a family history of heart disease and realizing that I am no longer 19 I decided to make some dietary changes. I used the Nutribullet to eat veggies. Been hitting between 7-10 servings a day with 1-2 blasts. Had my labs redone a week ago with these results…
Total Cholesterol…142
Triglycerides…139
HDL…36

Hi
Just had my second healthy shake. I have extreme medical problems, numerous surgeries, several back surgeries, etc. Looking for help with severe pain and depression. Is there any help for me? Recipes would be appreciated!
Darlene, just keep Blasting! The recipes in the book are a good guideline.
I know that inundating my body with good nutrition these past 5 weeks has made a difference in my mood. I personally can’t say from experience, but I’ve read a lot about pain being greatly alleviated or disappearing altogether. That would definitely help with your depression too, I’m sure
I have also supplemented my diet with 5-HTP for a few years, and it seems to work for many people for depression. Recently, I have discovered that mucuna pruriens, which is a type of bean, has 5-htp naturally in it, and people have been using that added to their diet for depression. I only just replaced my 5-htp with mucuna powder, but even before adding the mucuna I had a very noticeable difference in my mood. Just the nutrition in the fruits and veggies alone, I believe, can help immensely.
Look around this site, there is lots of good info. The Real People, Real Results may help you with your search too.

For anyone who is looking to get heart healthy – Aside from this delicious blast, every morning I eat steel-cut oats, with 3/4 tsp of cinnamon and fresh apple. It helped to bring my genetically inherited high cholesterol down from 270 to 176 in 3 months. Of course, that is in addition to an overall healthy diet.
This especially hit home when I saw this link on FB, as I’m going through some cardiac testing this week and have been really focusing on things that might help my heart.
Wooohooo! Went to the doctor today and brought my total cholesterol down another 10 points! And that’s without fasting
I am so excited! The doc said that everything is within perfect levels!

I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my NutriBullet, and any thing I have mixed up so far for me has been a sure fire winner. One of my favorite Nutriblasts I make for my self, I call my golden sunshine, morning blast I take all of the following fruits in equal parts, which have been frozen first…Pineapple, peaches, apricots, cantelope, banana, (about 1 and a 1/4 c.) then a few slices of fresh apple cored, 1/4 of an orange pealed, white pith left on, a few slices of carrot, and 1 slice each of yellow, red, and orange bell peppers, 1 tsp. milled flax seed,1 tsp. coconut oil. Have had my Nutribullet since Nov’12. Loving it! I usually have a blast twice a day – once in morning and once late afternoon around 4 or 4:30 pm. My morning blast usually consists of handful each of kale, baby spinach and arugula then I add either 1/4 cup cucumber or celery plus 1/2 avocado – and some fruit – usually 1/2 cup pineapple, plus 1/2 banana, plus 1/4 cup blueberries or raspberries. I always add 5 or 6 almonds, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 tsp hemp seeds, 1 tsp ground flax, 1 tsp cinnamon (yummy – as well as heart healthy) and last but not least – 1/8 tsp turmeric. Then I add 1/2 cup coconut water and fill rest of the way to max line with filtered water. I have so much more energy since I have been blasting the last 2 1/2 months.
