Stairway to health
12I can’t believe this, so I just had to share! About a month ago, I moved some heavy furniture and since then had experienced serious knee pain from a previous injury. It was difficult going up and down stairs, so at work, I would take the elevator, even to go up or down one floor. Well, yesterday was my first day using the NutriBullet. I had a Nutribullet breakfast and dinner. This morning, when I got out of bed, I noticed I didn’t have my usual back pain and I didn’t have to take one step at a time in my condo. It took me a minute to realize I wasn’t feeling any pain. So, when I went to work I decided to try the 24 stairs in the office and I made it up, without any pain! About 5 minutes later, I went back down; still no pain! I hadn’t done that in over a month! I’m just amazed!!!!

Question, while we appreciate these great stories about people finding relief from joint pain, we never see what these mixes are that help people. As we have made an investment in your product, it would be a great thing if we could be told what these mixes are so that we could see if they would assist people with joint pain. Thank you.
Hi Teri. It is up to our testimonial givers to share their recipes. Often times they do, but sometimes they just share how amazing they feel. We’re already asking people to take time to share these stories and we appreciate receiving them at all!
Here is Sylvia’s testimonial about relief from joint pain. In the comment section, she shares the recipe that helped her. http://nutribulletblog.com/soothing-sylvias-joint-pain/
Be sure to check out our blog’s recipe page, our Facebook page wall, and the answers provided by our NutriBullet R.D. for more specific information.
We will share Wanda’s recipe(s) if/when we get them!
Hi Teri, as I mentioned above, if you have the recipe book that came with your Nutribullet, I mainly used the recipes in Phase 1 on page 42. I added flax seed or almonds, as well.
Sorry! Just been really busy and had no idea all these comments were here! I started out with phase 1 recipes on page 42 and pretty much stuck with them my first week.
Would love to know what is in your mix
I would like to know what ingredients you are using as well. My boyfriend has real bad joint pain and back pain we have been using our Nutri Bullet so please let me know what you are doing.
Irene, I started out with the recipes on page 42 of the Nutribullet recipe book.. I also added flax seed or almonds to my nutriblast for added fiber. If he has a lot of toxins in his body, he might respond differently or it may take longer. I’m a vegetariana, so that may have something to do with it as well. Try the different recipes and see which ones work best. Drink lots of water, as well.
Hello Wanda, that is amazing and thank you for sharing your story. I also have real bad knee joint pains, that seem to not want to go away. I have been using our NB, but I guess I’m not usin the correct mix. WHAT mix / ingredients do you use ?? Is it the same mix for breakfast and dinner?? Thank you :0)
That is wonderful Wanda. What mix does anyone use for lowering blood sugar except the one in rhe book?
Roberta, to keep blood sugar in balance, it is best to choose mainly vegetables (non-starchy) as the base. In addition to that you can include some low glycemic index fruits such as berries, citrus, apples, pear, avocado and sour cherries. In addition, chia seeds, aloe vera, raw cacao and cinnamon have been shown to help regulate blood sugar.
How about this?
50% Swiss chard
1/2 zucchini squash
1/2 cup broccoli florets
1/2 lemon (rind removed)
5 strawberries or 1/2 cup blueberries
1 Tbsp chia seeds
10 almonds
Water or unsweetened almond milk to the Max line and extract
Sorry for the delay! I like the Toxin Cleansing Blast and Vita Berry Blast. I had that for breakfast and dinner, and for lunch I had hummus, whole wheat pita and cucumber. Since our bodies are different, you have to find out what’s best for you. Also, since I knew that I wanted to improve my health, even before I received my Nutribullet, I started making changes in my diet. I was eating more raw and steamed veggies and less fried foods. Make sure you’re using the boosts, as well, to add more nutrients and fiber to your blasts. I hope this helps.
